Marduk

Marduk, is a black metal band from Norrkoping, Sweden, formed in 1990. Formed by Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson, with the initial goal; formed the band with the theme of blasphemy in the world. The name of this swedish band satanic origin taken from one of the names of ancient Babylonian god, Marduk.

Initially, the band consisted of A. Axelsson (vocals), Morgan (Guitarist), Devo (guitar), Rikard (bassist), and J. Göthberg (drummer). But in 1992, Axel and Rikard out, and was replaced by J. Göthberg (vocalist) - which initially was the drummer, and B. War (Bassist), the vacant drummer position was filled by Fredrik Andersson.

Style of music used in the first shades of Death Metal, which is strongly influenced by Black Metal. However, as mature forms of music, the band became fully black metal band, though still with style of music that is more rapid and severe when compared to similar genre in general - so impressed shape Black / Death. However, it should dikatahui, the band has never claimed that meraka using the genre (Black / Death). And to the theme of the lyrics, used themes such as Satanism, anti-Christian, World War, and blaspheme the Bible. It is now one of the most famous band satanism.

Their first album titled Endless Dark was released in 1992. Which continues with the release of their album the following year (Those of the Unlight/1993). Previously, the band has also released his debut Fuck Me Jesus (1991).
